Hi, I’m Lydia…
Hello! I am Lydia, and I’m on the autism spectrum. I’ve been pet-sitting since I was a kid in southwestern Ohio, and house-sitting for almost that long. Over the years I’ve had all sorts of small critters ranging from dogs, cats and birds to rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, and mice as well as turtles, frogs, fish and hermit crabs. I’ve lived in central Hollywood since 1984, with my husband and our children, most of whom are now grown.
I’m a freelance writer and musician (singer/songwriter), I perform a wee bit of office work sometimes, and I also manage this website for Annette, plus I have one of my own. I even drive for Uber and Lyft: let me know if I pick you up!
I can travel wherever I am needed for pet/house-sitting or longer-term caretaking needs. For the time being, I can also provide daily or occasional pet visits and/or dog-walking for pet parents in Hollywood, Hallandale, Dania, Davie, Pembroke Pines, Golden Beach, and Aventura.
